Which building is the S.J. Quinney College of Law?

The S.J. Quinney College of Law is the beautiful new six-story, LEED-certified southwestern gateway to the University, located on the corner of University Street East and South Campus Drive. Its address is 383 S. University Street East, Salt Lake City, UT 84112

Where inside the College of Law is the Summit being held?

We’ll be on the 6th floor all day—you can’t miss us!

Where do I park?

There is a section of Lightspark Media Summit parking reserved in the Rice Eccless Stadium lot, located across the street from the S.J. Quinney College of Law.

Do I have to attend the whole day?

While you’ll get the biggest bang for your buck by attending all day, you may individually attend any of the day’s segments as listed on the Agenda [link to Agenda]. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of a segment, as you will not be permitted to enter the auditorium while the program is in progress.

What is CLE credit?

Bar-admitted attorneys must maintain minimum Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit on a revolving basis. This event is approved for seven (7) hours of Utah CLE credit.

Can I register on-site, or must I pre-register via the website?

Please register online before 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1st so you may choose your lunch and guarantee admission. There will be a very limited quantity of same-day registrations available.

I can’t attend, but want to stay in the loop. How do I get on your email list?

We’d love to keep in touch regardless! You may sign up for our email list here.

I have allergies or dietary restrictions. What can I eat?

Our lunch caterer, Pulp Lifestyle Kitchen, is a healthy quick-service restaurant downtown that is sensitive to dietary restrictions. The most common allergens are listed here, but we cannot guarantee there was no cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy, we recommend you bring a sack lunch.

I want to attend, but can’t afford to register. Can I still come?

Volunteers get in for free! Please fill out this form if you’re interested in volunteering at Lightspark.

Why does the lightspark17 discount code no longer work?

Originally offered to members of our sponsor organizations, the discount code gave a $50 price to non-students. However, we have since simplified our registration process by adding the Creative Professionals tier at $50, so the promo code is no longer necessary. As a reference point, similar conferences in New York and Los Angeles are priced between $500-1,500 per registrant, so Lightspark is a screamin’ deal!
